Ashlie and Amber Chavez /// You Are Not Alone, Unique or Dying.

Ashlie and Amber Chavez are twin sisters and collaborative photographers.  The girls solely shoot analog and have been doing so for the past 10 years.

Their first collaboration titled “Symbiotic” was a delineation of their abnormally close relationship as twins. The girls also work together on commissioned projects- doing shoots of musicians, clothing lines, and skateboarders.

Their second solo show titled “You are not alone, unique or dying” will be the first show at Ghetto Gloss’s new location in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, August 6th. The show is curated by newly added curator Jen Wolf. The show is a photographic exhibition of portraits and documentive photographs, with a treat of a new and extremely meticulous collage series. Please come and discover their unique collaborative work.
