Alex Hungtai, aka Dirty Beaches, headlined his first show ever last night at the Echo in Silver Lake. The COMUNE crew including Jason Lee Parry, Andrew and Gary Star ventured out to take in the sound.

Alana Paterson was born on a small island off the West Coast of Canada. Currently, she divides her time between Vancouver, Canada and Copenhagen, Denmark. On Saturday night I was lucky enough to catch a few bands at Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa. King Tuff, No Joy, and NOBUNNY were on the lineup and didn’t disappoint.
