After three glorious days spent up North; filled with nature, cold air and antics, COMUNE successfully wrapped up shooting for the Fall 2011 catalog. Each day we would awake at 7am and set forth to embark on ten hour days of shooting, exploring and climbing before the sun set beyond the ocean landscape. As night fell, the evenings left us tired and ravished as we feasted on pizza only moments before quickly falling into a deep sleep. Day three was the home stretch. Up and ready to go at 7am we tackled the final day of shooting, anticipating the words “that’s a wrap”. Pleased with the results and the close of the shoot, reality set in realizing we were finally done!
The evening attitude then dramatically shifted into thoughts of celebration. Dinner and drinks turned into multiple shots and several beer runs. Good vibes and laughter spilled into the night as if some sort of magic dust had filled the air. After many adult sodas and our cell phones in hand to act as flash lights we then trekked into the wilderness for an adventure which included bridge climbing and rock hopping in the middle of the creek as we made the forest our playground for the night. Some of us even opted for a true outdoors experience and choose to fearlessly wade in the freezing creek as if it were a hot spring. As the night wound down, we moved indoors to reminisce about the trip, the memories and the hard work put forth in preparation for the Fall 2011 season. Check back for the latest updates and take a sneak peak of the Fall 2011 line soon!
