CS: Yo man, where you been?
JM: I’ve been up in Oregon. I recently moved to Bend and have been spending time in Portland as well.

CS: How long did it take you to drive down here?
JM: It took three days, or maybe four. I drove from Portland to Bend. The next day I went to Tahoe, then Mammoth and finally made it down here to Southern California. I didn’t want to come down so the drive really sucked.

CS: Who do you hang with in Bend?
JM: I have a handful of friends up there. I recently bought a motorcycle that didn’t run so we have been toying with that a bunch. Mt. Bachelor opened today so when I get back we will be riding everyday.

CS: Since you’re living in a garage you can work on your bike all the time? How’s that coming along?
JM: (laughs) I thought I would be working on it in my room but quickly discovered that all the fumes really go to your head. Austin Smith and Curtis Ciszek live down the street so I work on it in their garage.

CS: What are your plans for this winter?
JM: I will be in Based out of Oregon, Excited for this COMUNE project. Other things are still up in the air but it should be a really fun winter.

CS: How was Bear the other day when you went?
JM: It was really fun. There’s only one run open but if you have been to bear you know it doesn’t take much for them to have a million things up to fuck around on. Bear is always a good time.

CS: Tell me a story about the uncle you just met and the mule story.
JM: So my Uncle was telling me the other day about him and his brothers heading back to Oklahoma for a funeral in New Mexico. His brother saw a bunch of mules on the side of the rode and wanted to pull over and chloroform one of the mules and put it the trunk of his stretched out Buick. Apparently it took 30 minutes to convince him otherwise.

CS: Thanks for stopping by man. Have a great rest of your trip.
JM: Thank you, I love coming to this office. Everyone in here is awesome and we always have some good laughs.
